We’re back with Foundry Presets 07: RC-20 Vol. 3 — The Subtle Edition. This one’s a little different. Over the past few years, we’ve dropped two RC-20 packs that focused on bold textures, vintage grit, and standout sonic character. But somewhere along the way, we realized something: subtlety is underrated.

This pack is all about that fine tuning. The little sprinkle of warmth. The small touch of movement. The kind of effect you feel more than hear. That’s what The Subtle Edition is for.

We’ve included 30 presets that lean into texture without overpowering the source. Actually, 31. But that just didn’t sound as good in the title, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to delete one. They all earned their spot.

Loudness Matters!

All the presets were meticulously built using samples at -14.5 LUFS. Why? Because RC-20 is input-sensitive and nonlinear. The louder the signal, the more intense the effect becomes. We chose to work with material at a consistent loudness so that every preset reacts in a controlled way. This means you get a reliable, predictable response from each preset, and your mix decisions stay intentional.
